WHITEVILLE, NC—Crettie Lou Burns Jones, 89, of 59 New Hope Street, Whiteville, NC, died Friday, March 26, 2021, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare in Whiteville.

A Graveside Service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 31, at Cherry Grove Cemetery, 660 Vinson Boulevard, Whiteville, NC, by Rev. Dannie Livingston.

There will be no public viewing.

Surviving are her daughters, Essie Walker and Peggy Horne of Matthews, NC, Gracie George of Whiteville, NC, Linda Williams of Charlotte, NC, Sylvia Jones of Columbia, SC, Jennifer Livingston (Dannie) of Fairmont, NC, Sandra George (Titus) of Chadbourn, NC, and Tonya Jones of the home; sons, Calvin Jones (Minnie), Robert Jones (Trumilla), Willie Jones (Jennifer), and Johnny Jones (Debra) of Whiteville, NC, and Curtis Jones (Velda) of New London, CT; sister, Mary Jamison (Jamie) of Greenville, SC; brothers, Claude Burns of Beaver Creek, OH, Willie Burns (Juanita) of Whiteville, NC, and Joseph Elps (Gisela) of Mint Hill, NC.
