Curlis Monroe

OWINGS MILLS, MD—Curlis Monroe, 93, formerly of Bladenboro, NC, died Thursday, October 12, 2023, at Northwest Hospital Hospice in Randallstown, MD.

The funeral will be 11:00 AM Monday, October 30, at Peoples Funeral Chapel in Whiteville.  Burial will be in the Kelly Cemetery in Bladenboro, NC.

Viewing will be at the funeral Home Monday one hour prior to the service, at which time the family will receive friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters, Carrie Jean Pendleton of Baltimore, MD, Vera Michelle Jones Sims of Raleigh, NC, and Sheila Priscilla Walters of Wake Forest, NC; his son, Clifton Monroe of Reisterstown, MD.
