WHITEVILLE—Daquonn Thompson, 27, of 2331 Golf Course Road, Whiteville, died Monday, June 18, in Clinton.
The funeral will be 2:00 PM Saturday, June 23, at the Brunswick-Waccamaw Baptist Headquarters, 600 Pinelog Road, Whiteville, by Rev. Jerry Ganus. Burial will be in the Hallsboro Memorial Park.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and at the headquarters Saturday one hour prior to and following the service.
Surviving are his daughter, Aniyah Thompson of the home; son, Damer Thompson of Dillon, SC; mother, Sheila Powell Thompson of the home; father, David Earl Thompson of Thomasville; sister, Shi’asia Powell of the home; brothers, Megellan Powell of Kentucky, Rajjennah Powell and Faquonn Thompson of the home; maternal grandmother, Gladiola Boone of Whiteville; paternal grandparents, David Thompson of Bladenboro and Mary Trotter of Maryland.
