CHADBOURN, NC—Darian Donnell Nixon, 42, of Chadbourn, NC, died Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
The funeral will be 12:00 Noon Saturday, December 6, at Mount Olive Baptist Church, 5548 Silver Spoon Road, Whiteville, NC. Burial will be in the Church cemetery #2.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Saturday following the service.
Darian is survived by his father, Donell Nixon of Atlanta, GA; mother, Sheryl Shipman Nixon of Whiteville, NC; brothers, Adrian Nixon, Terrance Nixon, and Kortell Nixon of Atlanta, GA; sister, Kaiya Nixon ofAtlanta, GA; daughter, Narya Nixon; bonus daughters, Darriyah and Sacheal; godchildren, Davion Frink and Jahzier Freeman.
