FAYETTEVILLE, NC—Debra Gail Smith Stephens, 67, of Fayetteville, NC, died Wednesday, May 13, 2026, in Chadbourn, NC.
The funeral will be 11:00 AM Friday, May 22, at New Mount Zion Baptist Church, 1980 Millpond Road, Whiteville, NC. Burial will be in the Cherry Grove Cemetery.
Viewing will be at the church Friday 30 minutes prior to the service.
Surviving are her sisters, Gwendolyn Smith of Baltimore, MD and Julia Curry of Elizabeth City, NC; brother, Robert Ballard of Fayetteville, NC.
