CHADBOURN, NC—Doris Joan Ramona Scipio Dees, 90, of 223 Broadway Road, Chadbourn, NC, died Monday, December 28, 2020, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
She was a retired educator of Columbus County Schools.
A memorial service will be 1:00 PM Thursday, January 7, on the grounds of Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville.
Walk-thru viewing will be Wednesday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home chapel.
Surviving are her sisters, Evelyn Anderson of Chadbourn, NC and Jacqueline Rinehart of Washington, DC; brother, Rudolph Scipio (Alice) of Silver Spring, MD; grandchildren, Derek C. Dees of Clayton, NC, Brandon J. Gladden (Monica) of Statesville, NC, Julian E. Dees (Tarisha) of Alexandria, VA, and Bradford J. Gladden of Greensboro, NC.
