RIEGELWOOD, NC—Eddie Raymond Shaw, 94, of 15524 Old Lake Road, Riegelwood, NC, died Friday, February 26, 2021, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
He was a former member of the Columbus County Board of Education.
A graveside service will be 2:00 PM Friday at Mt. Pleasant AME Zion Church Cemetery, 557 Cemetery Road, Riegelwood, NC, by Pastor Trishaun Kendall of Mt. Pleasant AME Zion Church.
Walk-thru viewing will be Thursday from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at Mt. Pleasant AME Zion Church, 15956 Old Lake Road, Riegelwood, NC.
Surviving are his wife, Alethia W. Shaw; daughter, Sheryl Leatherberry (Thomas) of Greensboro, NC; son, Eddie Raymond Shaw, Jr. (Ursula) of Hope Mills, NC; sister, Niecie Parham of Wilmington, NC; brother, Charles Harry Shaw (Bertha) of Riegelwood, NC; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
