BROOKLYN, NY—Elene Lacewell Brown, 74, formerly of Riegelwood, NC, died Friday, November 22, 2024, at home in Brooklyn, NY.

The funeral will be 12:00 PM Monday, December 2, at Graham Chapel AME Zion Church, 458 East Arcadia Road, Riegelwood, NC, by Elder Eddie Lacewell.  Burial will be in the Graham Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Monday 30 minutes prior to the service.

Surviving are her sons, Tyrone Brown of Leland, NC and Kendrick Brown of N. Chesterfield, VA; brother, Eddie Lacewell of Brooklyn, NY; sister, Pamela Graham of Riegelwood, NC.
