WHITEVILLE—Elizabeth Malloy Carter, 79, of 219 McKenzie Street, Whiteville, died Friday, February 3, 2023, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System.

The funeral will be 2:00 PM Sunday, February 12, at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 239 West Columbus Street, Whiteville, by Pastor Algernon McKenzie.  Burial will be in the Mount Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Viewing will be at the church Sunday one hour prior to the service, at which time the family will receive friends.

Surviving are her husband, James Carter; daughters, Shawnette Haynes of Greensboro, NC, Linette Haynes of New Jersey, and Kisha Haynes of Whiteville; brother, Earl Malloy.
