Obituary
ASH, NC—Ercell Marlow Godwin, 81, of the Little Prong community, Ash, NC, died Sunday, April 30, 2023, at home.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Friday, May 5, at Little Prong Missionary Baptist Church, 5213 Little Prong Road, Ash, NC, by Pastor Robert D. Frink. Burial will be in the Little Prong Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel in Whiteville Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Friday one hour prior to the service.
Surviving are her husband, Charles Lee Godwin; daughters, Sonya Marlow of Ash, NC, Angela Godwin of Raleigh, NC, and April Terry of Fuquay-Varina, NC; sons, Charles Darryl Godwin of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Cedric Godwin of Raleigh, NC, and Jarrett Godwin of Ash, NC.
