NEW YORK, NY—Etta Jean Turner, 78, formerly of Boardman, NC, died Thursday, March 5, 2026, at home in New York City.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Saturday, March 21, at Horace Grove Baptist Church, 11001 Old Highway 74, Evergreen, NC. Burial will be in the Horace Grove Community Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Saturday 30 minutes prior to the service.
She is survived by her daughter, Kamika Turner; and a host of family members and friends.
