WHITEVILLE—Evelyn Heingway Rorie, 82, of Whiteville, died Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System.
The funeral will be 1:30 PM Sunday, February 15, at Saint Mark AME Zion Church, 114 West Virgil Street, Whiteville, NC. Burial will be in the Campground Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Saturday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Sunday following the service.
Surviving are her husband, Bobbie Rorie; daughter, Lisa Michelle Logan of Chadbourn, NC; sons, Malcolm Alland Logan of Creswell, NC and Ricky Love Logan of Whiteville; sister, Ruth Nadine Ward of Whiteville; brother, Tony Ward of Whiteville.
