CLARKTON, NC—Fletcher Young, 92, of 5542 Lisbon Road, Clarkton, NC, died Friday, April 8, 2022, at his home.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Friday, April 15, at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 1604 White Plains Church Road, Clarkton, NC, by Pastor Andrew Pabon. Burial will be in the Young Family Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Friday 30 minutes prior to and following the service.
Surviving are his daughters, Dianne Smith of Clarkton, NC and Delores Johnson-Strozier of Kings Mountain, NC; sons, Russell McDowell of Clarkton, NC and Cornell Young of Tennessee; and brother, Julius Young of New York.
