WHITEVILLE—George Glendale Walker, 67, of 200 Jordan Lane, Whiteville, died Friday, August 24, at Shoreland Healthcare.
He was the son of the late George Washington Walker and Zellen Smith Walker.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Thursday, August 30, at the Peoples Funeral Chapel in Whiteville by Elder DaQuan Baldwin. Burial will be in the Hallsboro Memorial Park.
Viewing will be at the funeral home Thursday one hour prior to and following the service.
Surviving are his son, Marcus Walker of Newark, NJ; and sisters, Elouise Harper of Hallsboro, Mary Baldwin of Whiteville, and Deborah Walker of Newark, NJ.
