CLARKTON, NC—Georgia Spaulding Mathis, 71, of Clarkton, NC, died Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Novant Health New Hanover.

The funeral will be 11:00 AM Saturday, June 10, at Union Baptist Church, 2290 Old Northeast Road, Lake Waccamaw, NC.  Burial will be in the Mitchell Field Cemetery.

Viewing will be at the church Saturday one hour prior to the service.

Surviving are her daughters, Lakeisha Mathis of Clarkton, NC, Cedrina Mathis of Raleigh, NC, and Toyia Mathis of Riegelwood, NC; sisters, Jannie Campbell of Clarkton, NC, Nischell Spaulding of Whiteville, and Shirley Murphy of Rahway, NJ; brother, Kenneth Spaulding of Chadbourn, NC.
