WHITEVILLE—Geraldine Jones Greene, 90, of Whiteville, died Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at Columbus Regional healthcare System.

She was a retired teacher of Whiteville City Schools.

The funeral will be 11:00 AM Thursday, July 6, at the Brunswick-Waccamaw Baptist Headquarters, 600 Pinelog Road, Whiteville, NC, by Rev. Andy Anderson, eulogist and Rev. Lester Frink, officiant.  Burial will be in the Campground Cemetery.

Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Wednesday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, with ritualistic services starting at 4:30 PM.  Viewing will be at the headquarters Thursday one hour prior to the service. 

Surviving are her daughters, Crystal Vanessa Greene of Whiteville and Tarena Jones of Taiwan; son, Derral A. Greene of Whiteville; sisters, Patricia Jordan of Whiteville and Martha Williams of San Diego, CA; brothers, Anthony Jones and Andy Anderson of Whiteville.
