WHITEVILLE, NC—Gladys Stephens Odom, 89, of 318 West Columbus Street, Whiteville, NC, died Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at her residence.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Saturday, May 22, on the grounds of Central Missionary Baptist Church, 443 West Virgil Street, Whiteville, NC, by Pastor David A. Flowers. Burial will be in the Campground Cemetery.
Viewing will be Friday from 5:00 to 6:00 PM at Peoples Funeral Chapel in Whiteville.
Surviving are her daughters, Karen Odom, Amaryllis Bell (Herbert), and Avis Odom of Whiteville, NC, Sonja Rice of Philadelphia, PA, and Sharen Troy (Michael) of Spring Lake, NC; sons, Kenneth Odom of Dallas, TX, Geary Odom of Chadbourn, NC, Ernest Odom, Jr. of Philadelphia, PA, Kelvin Odom of Savannah, GA, and Jay Durant of Whiteville, NC; brother, William Graham (Linda) of Columbia, SC.
