SUNSET BEACH—Glassco Smith, 70, formerly of Chadbourn, died Tuesday, May 19, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
A graveside service, for immediate family only, will be 2:00 PM Monday, May 25, at Belvue Cemetery, 1055 Clarendon-Chadbourn Road, Chadbourn, by Elder Ricky Mason.
Walk-through viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel in Whiteville Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.
Surviving are his daughter, April Parker (James) of Durham; sons, Glasco Harris Smith of Germantown, MD and Matthew Thaddeus Smith of Oakland, CA; sisters, Girlie Frink and Gwendolyn Gamble of Chadbourn; brothers, Raeford Smith (Veronica) of Baltimore, MD, James Smith of Chadbourn, Salvotis Smith (Reneé) of Hope Mills, and Harris Edge (Leona) of Aberdeen, MD; four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
