JACKSONVILLE, FL—Gregory Alton George, 59, formerly of Whiteville, NC, died Saturday, January 2, 2021, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare in Whiteville, NC.
A graveside service will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 6, at Mitchell Field Cemetery, 240 Mitchell Field Road, Clarkton, NC.
Walk-thru viewing will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 6:00 PM at the Peoples Funeral Chapel in Whiteville.
Surviving are his sisters, Gwendolyn Shipman (Jerome) of Goldsboro, NC, Floretta Benjamin (Floyd) of Laguna Niguel, CA, Barbara Best (Clarence) of Newport News, VA, and Juanita Register of Whiteville, NC; brothers, Franklin R. George and Reginald George of Whiteville, NC and Terrence George (Alberta) of Hallsboro, NC.
Graveside service will be live-streamed on Facebook @ Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville, Inc.
