Helen Durant Obituary
CHADBOURN—Helen Mae Gore Durant, 67, of 628 North Wilkes Street, Chadbourn, died Sunday, November 17, at her home.
The funeral will be 2:00 PM Sunday, November 24, at the Brunswick-Waccamaw Baptist Headquarters, 600 Pinelog Road, Whiteville, by Pastor Robert D. Williams of House of Mercy. Burial will be in the Campground Cemetery.
Viewing will be at the headquarters Sunday one hour prior to the service, and there will be no viewing after the service.
Surviving are her daughters, Tammy Temeka Gore of Tabor City and Hellen Gore-Vaught of Whiteville; sisters, Carletta Melvin of Loris, SC and Ruby Shepherd of Tabor City; brothers, James Holmes of Texas and Phonnell Gore of North Dakota.
