WHITEVILLE—Herbert Leon Bell, 66, of 40 Jason Road, Whiteville, died Saturday, June 4, 2022.

The funeral will be 3:00 PM Saturday, June 11, at Central Baptist Church, 443 West Virgil Street, Whiteville, by Rev. David A. Flowers.  Burial will be in the Campground Cemetery.

Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Saturday one hour prior to the service.

Surviving are his wife, Amaryllis Odom Bell; daughters, Elliyah Bell of Jamestown, NC and Lakeisha Bell of Clinton, NC; son, Shelton Odom of Whiteville, NC; sisters, Nancy Thomas of Washington, DC and Virginia Johnson of Chapel Hill, NC.

Friends may visit the family at 318 West Columbus Street, Whiteville.
