Jack Batten Obituary
TABOR CITY—Jack Arthur Batten, 74, of Tabor City, died Wednesday, May 16, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Monday, May 21, at Little Iron Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 24320 Peacock Road, Tabor City. Burial will be in the Smith Family Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Sunday from 2:00 to 7:00 PM and at the church Monday following the service.
Surviving are his daughters, Barbara Thompson of Loris, SC, Jacqueline Batten and Nancy Sherbet of Waynesboro, GA, Penny Kay Batten of Atlanta, GA, and Ailleen Sampson of Maryland; son, Jack A. Batten of Darlington, SC; mother, Irene A. Batten of Tabor City; and brothers, Jerry Batten of Fayetteville, Joseph Batten of Beaumont, TX, and Gary Batten of Tabor City.
Friends may visit the family at 24288 Peacock Road, Tabor City.
