James Boone Obituary
WHITEVILLE—James Edward Boone, 88, of 502 West Burkhead Street, Whiteville, died Sunday, January 26, at his home.
The funeral will be 11:00 AM Monday, February 3, at Mount Hebron AME Zion Church, 570 Red Bug Road, Hallsboro, by Rev. Shawin DuBois, eulogist and Rev. Donald Mapson, pastor. Burial will be in the Hallsboro Memorial Park.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Sunday from 3:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Monday one hour prior to and following the service.
Surviving are his sons, Miles Boone and Charmine Boone of Lake Waccamaw, Wendell Boone of Red Bluff, SC, and Melvin Boone of Whiteville; daughter, Joan B. Robinson of Whiteville
