WHITEVILLE—James Edison Jones, 88, of Whiteville, died Sunday, October 1, 2023, at Premier Living.
The funeral will be 2:00 PM Sunday, October 8, at Welches Creek Missionary Baptist Church, 1733 Millie-Christine Road, Whiteville, NC, by Pastor Frederick Bryant. Burial will be in the Welches Creek Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Saturday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Sunday following the service.
Surviving are his wife, Emmaline King Jones; son, Clarence Baldwin of Greensboro, NC; and brother, James Harold Jones of Connecticut.
