JACKSONVILLE, FL--James Larry "Peter" George, 66, formerly of Whiteville, died Saturday, June 4, 2022, in Jacksonville, FL.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
A Memorial Service, with military honors, will be 12:00 PM Saturday, June 18, at Peoples Funeral Chapel in Whiteville by Rev. James L. Smith.
Surviving are his daughter, Shannon Nicole George of Reisterstown, MD; son, Tremayne DeShawn Stanley (Corenthia) of Wendell, NC; sisters, Phyllis George Barr (Darrell) of Odenton, MD and Barbara George LeSane of Whiteville, NC; brothers, Ronald G. George of Clinton, MD and Donald L. George (Audrey) of Accokeek, MD.
The family requests that floral tributes be in the form of plants.
