Jesse Peacock Obituary
CHADBOURN, NC—Rev. Jesse Peacock, 85, of Chadbourn, NC, died Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham, NC.
He was a U. S. Army veteran.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Friday, May 29, at Mount Horeb AME Church, 187 Otis & Donell Nixon Road, Evergreen, NC. Burial, with military honors, will be in the Belvue Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Friday 30 minutes prior to the service.
Surviving are his wife, Sinatra McCoy Peacock; son, Quentin Peacock of Charlotte, NC; sisters, Lillian McInnis of Evergreen, NC and Maxine Brady of Chadbourn, NC.
In lieu of flowers, you may donate to the Shriners Children’s Hospital.
