WASHINGTON, DC—Jettie Marjorie Vereene, 74, formerly of Nakina, NC, died Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at Deanwood Rehabilitation & Wellness Center in Washington, DC.
A graveside service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, November 7, at New Home Cemetery, 10850 Seven Creeks Highway, Nakina, NC.
Walk-thru viewing will be Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Peoples Funeral Chapel in Whiteville
Surviving are her children, Janet Vereen, Cynthia Vereen, and Calvin Vereen of Washington, DC, Joseph Vereen of Silver Spring, MD, and Nathaniel Vereen of Capitol Heights, MD.
