WHITEVILLE—James Edward “Jimmy” Troy, 82, of 1164 Millie-Christine Road, Whiteville, died Tuesday, May 26, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare in Whiteville.
A graveside service will be 1:00 PM Saturday, May 30, at Welches Creek Cemetery, 353 Millie-Christine Road, Whiteville, by Rev. Cleveland Simmons.
Walk-through viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Saturday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Surviving are his children, Gwendolyn Troy-McKinney, Terry Troy, and Maurice Troy of Durham, and Sylvia Richardson of Florida; sisters, Betty Baldwin and Gracie George of Whiteville, and Gracie Cohen of New York; brother, James Allen Troy of Virginia.
