CHADBOURN, NC—Jimmy Lee Young, 75, of 38 Vaught Square, Chadbourn, NC, died Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
He was a retired U.S. Army veteran and a Prince Hall Mason.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 29, at the Brunswick-Waccamaw Baptist Headquarters, 600 Pinelog Road, Whiteville, by Dr. Jerry S. Ganus. Burial, with full military honors, will be in the Belvue Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Monday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the Headquarters Tuesday one hour prior to and following the service.
Surviving are his sisters, Geraldine Flowers of Washington, DC, Marilyn Young, Cynthia George, and Brenda Snowten of Chadbourn, NC, and Cathryn Collier of Hallsboro, NC.
Friends may visit the family at 136 Chappin Street, Chadbourn, NC.
