FAIRMONT, NC—Joan Claire Smith Lyons, 91, formerly of Whiteville, died Saturday, May 20, 2023, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC.
The funeral will be 11:00 AM Friday, May 26, at Peoples Funeral Chapel in Whiteville by Dr. Staccato Powell. Burial will be in the Hallsboro Memorial Park.
Viewing will be at the funeral home Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and Friday one hour prior to the service.
She is survived by her sister, Henrietta Graham of Fairmont, NC.
