BRONX, NY—Joann Stephens Climes, formerly of Sunset Beach, died Sunday, December 23, at her home in Bronx, NY.
She was the daughter of the late Willena Stephens Smith of Whiteville and Rudolph Stephens.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Monday, December 31, at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 587 Bricklanding Road SW, Shallotte, by Rev. Dr. Vaughn R. Cherry, pastor. Burial will be in the Campground Cemetery in Whiteville.
\Viewing will be at the church Monday one hour prior to the service, at which time the family will receive friends.
Surviving are her brothers, Rudolph D. Stephens of Ocean Isle Beach and Arthur Stephens of Leland; sisters, Priscilla Coleman of Burlington and Margaret Climes of Bronx, NY
