HALLSBORO, NC—Joanne Thurman Williams, 84, of 99 Thurman Road, Hallsboro, NC, died Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare.

The funeral will be 12:00 Noon Friday, August 15, at Mount Hebron AME Zion Church, 570 Red Bug Road, Hallsboro, NC. Burial will be in the Hallsboro Memorial Park.

Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Friday 30 minutes prior to the service.

Surviving is her sister, Mary Lewis of Lumberton, NC.
