RIEGELWOOD, NC—Jollye Register Shaw, 79, of 3461 General Howe Highway, Riegelwood, NC, died Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

She was a retired teacher of Columbus County Schools and a member of Whiteville Chapter of Las Amigas.

The funeral will be 1:00 PM Monday, January 16, at Mt. Pleasant AME Zion Church, 15956 Old Lake Road, Riegelwood, NC, by Rev. Dr. Florence S. Brown.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 PM and at the church Monday 30 minutes prior to the service.

Surviving are her daughters, Constance Shaw of the home and Melanie Shaw of Raleigh, NC.

In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to contribute to Whiteville Chapter of Las Amigas Scholarship Fund.
