INDIANAPOLIS, IN—Joseph Pearson Jacobs, Jr., 61, formerly of Hallsboro, NC, died Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at home in Indianapolis, IN.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
The funeral will be 11:00 AM Saturday, September 13, at New Light Baptist Church, 210 Hallsboro Road South, Hallsboro, NC, by Pastor Franklin Graham. Burial, with military honors, will be in the Cutler Cemetery.
Viewing and visitation will be at the church Saturday 30 minutes prior to the service.
Surviving are his brother, Keith Jacobs of Wake Forest, NC; and sister, Patricia Jacobs of Goldsboro, NC.
Friends may visit the family at 5118 Sam Potts Highway, Hallsboro, NC.
