Josephine (Freeman) Spaulding Campbell

CLARKTON, NC—Josephine Freeman Spaulding Campbell, 91, of 4635 Hallsboro Road North, Clarkton, NC, died Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System.

She was a retired educator and a charter member of the Whiteville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

The funeral will be 1:00 PM Saturday, November 13, on the lawn of Rehobeth AME Zion Church, 475 Rehobeth Church Road, Clarkton, Clarkton, NC, by Presiding Elder Florence S. Brown and Pastor Harrison Branch.  Burial will be in the Mitchell Field Cemetery.

Viewing will be Friday from 5:00 to 6:00 PM at Peoples Funeral Chapel in Whiteville.  Delta Sigma Theta Omega Omega Service will follow at 6:00 PM.

Surviving are her son, Milton C. Spaulding of Illinois; stepdaughters, Lisa Betts and Connie McMillian of Belcamp, MD, and Blondell Greene of Baltimore, MD; stepsons, Larry Campbell of California and Michael Campbell of Bladenboro;
