Surviving are her husband, Marshall Lee Powell; daughters, Swantoria Powell of Chadbourn, NC and Tiffany Powell of Whiteville; sons, James McKinnis, Marshall Powell, Jr., Taj Powell, and Nathan Powell of Whiteville; mother, Geraldine McInnis of Whiteville; sister, Joyce McMillian of Fayetteville, NC; brothers, Walter McKinnis and Michael McKinnis of Whiteville.
