WHITEVILLE—Karen Michelle George, 54, of 366 Old Glade Road, Whiteville, died Thursday, August 13, 2020, at her home.

A private graveside service will be 11:00 AM Sunday, August 16, at Welches Creek Cemetery, 353 Millie-Christine Road, Whiteville, NC, by Elder Ruthlene Freeman of The New Townsend Temple Ministries.

Surviving are her sons, Cagney O. George (Kati) of Cameron, NC and Timothy C. Lewis of Whiteville, NC; mother, Grace N. George of Whiteville, NC; father, Lee Drew George (Hyo Suk) of Hallsboro, NC; sister, Glenda George-Williams of Whiteville, NC; and three grandchildren.
