HALLSBORO, NC—Kenneth Alfonza Smith, 85, of Hallsboro, NC, died Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Liberty Commons.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Saturday, October 7, at New Light Missionary Baptist Church, 210 Hallsboro Road, South, Hallsboro, NC, by Pastor Franklin Graham. Burial, with military honors, and Masonic rites, will be in the Cutler Cemetery in Lake Waccamaw, NC.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, with Fraternal Rites at 5:00 PM. Viewing will be at the church Saturday one hour prior to the service.
Surviving is his wife, Mary Freeman Smith.
