CHADBOURN—Larry Wayne Brown, 68, of 362 Grist Road, Chadbourn, died Monday, May 4, at Duke University Hospital in Durham.
He was the son of the late Shirley Mae Brown and was reared by the late Hallie Brown and Armather Young Brown.
The family will have a private viewing and graveside service.
Surviving are his sons, Larry Wayne Brown, Jr. (Tamiko) of Wake Forest, Christopher Brown (Christina) of Greensboro, and John Eric Scott (Sharonda) of Waldorf, MD; daughter, Laurie Floyd (Danny) of Columbia, SC; siblings, Letha Mae Williams of Whiteville, Deloris Lee (Warner) and Delon Brown (Geraldine) of Durham, Paula Evans and Alban Brown (Kathy) of Chadbourn, Barbara May, Annette People, Gladys May, Frankie May, and Robert May of Brooklyn, NY; 19 grandchildren, uncle, Morris Young (Lucinda) of Chadbourn; fiancé, Thomasina Godfrey of Fair Bluff; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
