WILMINGTON, NC—Laura Bernette Smith Hamilton, 62, of 101 Doughton Drive, Wilmington, NC, died Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

The funeral will be 11:00 AM Saturday, December 14, at Anderson Tabernacle, 301 South 17th Street, Wilmington, NC 28401.  Entombment will be at the Smith Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Bolton, NC.

Viewing will be at the church Saturday 30 minutes prior to and following the service.

Surviving are her son, Jayson M. Hamilton of Marietta, GA; and brother, Rufus C. Smith, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL.
