NEW YORK, NY—Laura Mae Washington, 79, formerly of Bolton, NC, died Monday, August 9, 2021, at Jacob Medical Center in Bronx, NY.
She was the daughter of the late Carrie Bell Washington of Bolton, NC.
A Memorial Service will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 7, at Restwell Cemetery #1, 2508 Blacksmith Road, Bolton, NC, by Rev. Timothy Moss.
Surviving are her sister, Eva Anderson (Theodore) of New York, NY and brother, Christopher Washington (Geraldine) of Peekskill, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for contributions in Laura’s name be made to Green Chapel Baptist Church, 14853 Sam Potts Highway, Bolton, NC 28423.
