FAYETTEVILLE, NC—Lemuel Aaron Spaulding, Jr., 80, formerly of Clarkton, NC, died Friday, August 2, 2024, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
The funeral will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 7, at Rehobeth AME Zion Church, 475 Rehobeth Church Road, Clarkton, NC, by Pastor Harrison Branch. Burial, with Masonic rites, will be in the Mitchell Field Cemetery.
The viewing and visitation with the family will be at the church Wednesday one hour prior to the service.
Surviving are his daughter, Kimberly Spaulding of Fayetteville, NC; sisters, Gwendolyn Griffin of Fayetteville, NC, Geraldine Rorie of Winston-Salem, NC, and Marie Adams of Clarkton, NC; brothers, George Spaulding of Albuquerque, NM, Carlton Spaulding of Peachtree City, GA, and Clifton Spaulding of Winston-Salem, NC.
