BLADENBORO, NC—Levy McKenzie, 73, of 16002 Twisted Hickory Road, Bladenboro, NC, died Sunday, January 8, 2023, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Angel House.

The funeral will be 2:00 PM Sunday, January 15, at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 5549 Silver Spoon Road, Whiteville, by Pastor Timothy A. Lance.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Saturday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Sunday following the service.

Surviving are his daughters, Bernadette Pickett and Kenya McKenzie of Bladenboro, NC; sons, Tyrek George of Whiteville, Gregory George of Alabama, and Vic Gibson of Fayetteville, NC; sisters, Virginia Wooten, Barbara Wooten, and Roanna Lennon of Whiteville, and Venesta Ruffin of Durham, NC; brothers, Lonnie McKenzie, Harvey McKenzie, Terry McKenzie, and Joseph McKenzie of Bladenboro, NC, and Starlin McKenzie of Whiteville.
