EVERGREEN, NC—Linda Jane Pittman Nixon, 83, of Evergreen, NC, died Friday, March 20, 2026, at home.
The funeral will be 2:00 PM Sunday, March 29, at Mount Horeb AME Church, 187 Otis-Donell Nixon Road, Evergreen, NC. Burial will be in the Evergreen Community Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Saturday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Sunday 30 minutes prior to and following the service.
Surviving are her daughters, Barbara Nixon of Evergreen, NC and Debra Jackson of Whiteville.
