WHITEVILLE—Linda Faye Pridgen Powell, 69, of 92-A Mill Stream Drive, Whiteville, died Monday, April 10, 2023, at Shoreland Health Care & Retirement Center.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Friday, April 21, at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 239 West Columbus Street, Whiteville, NC, by Pastor Algernon McKenzie. Burial will be in the Hallsboro Memorial Park.
Viewing will be at the church Friday following the service.
Surviving are her sons, Marquese Powell of Hope Mills, NC, Jarquese Powell of El Paso, TX, and Brandon Powell of Whiteville; daughter, Frances Powell of Charlotte, NC; sisters, Celeste Elaine Bracy of Hallsboro, NC, Annie Marie Barnes of Fairmont, NC, Doris Ella Pridgen of Whiteville, Samantha Laurice Kea of Fayetteville, NC, and Mary Mason of Chadbourn, NC; brothers, Carl Franklin Pridgen of Raleigh, NC, Samuel Davis Pridgen, Maurice Pridgen, and Darryl Pridgen of Whiteville.
