WHITEVILLE—Lorraine Elizabeth Funnemark Matthews, 79, of 1111 Pinckney Street, Whiteville, NC, died Saturday, July 5, 2025, at home.
A Celebration of Life will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 8, at Peoples Funeral Chapel by Rev. James Churchville.
Surviving are her husband, Samuel Leston “Tadpole” Matthews; daughter, Kristen Matthews of Philadelphia, PA; son, Eric Matthews of Philadelphia, PA; sister, Nancy Krebs of Olympia, WA; brothers, Dennis Funnemark of Niceville, FL and Bill Funnemark of Altoona, IA.
