WHITEVILLE—Lottie Mae Kemp Stanley, 78, of 4077 Union Valley Road, Whiteville, NC, died Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare.

The funeral will be 1:00 PM Saturday, February 15, at Central Baptist Church, 443 West Virgil Street, Whiteville, NC, by Pastor David Flowers.  Cremation will follow.

Viewing will be at the church Saturday 30 minutes prior to the service.

Surviving are her husband, Ben A. Stanley, Jr.; daughters, Barbara C. Campbell of Whiteville, Leann Stanley of Tabor City, NC, and Thomasina Diggs of Hawthorne, GA; sons, William Timothy Capers, Jr. of Williamsburg, VA and Jonathan Stanley of Fayetteville, NC; sisters, Dora Jean Jackson of Whiteville, Peggie Elizabeth Cutler of Havelock, NC, and Samala Smith of Wilmington, NC; and stepson, Julius Stanley of Whiteville.

Friends may visit the family at 2911 Georgia Pacific Road, Whiteville, NC.
