WHITEVILLE—Maevern Marcella Best McKenzie, 87, of 4462 Joe Brown Highway North, Whiteville, died Saturday, August 24, at her residence.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Friday, August 30, at Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 4604 Joe Brown Highway North, Whiteville. Burial will be in the Kelly Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Thursday from 1:00 to 7:00 PM and at the church Friday one hour prior to and following the service.
Surviving are her daughters, Rita McKenzie and Kimberly McKenzie of the home; and sons, Anthony McKenzie and Otto McKenzie, Jr. of Whiteville.
