Margery Velma (Spann) Pierce

WHITEVILLE—Margery Velma Spann Pierce, 86, of 256 Fruit Ridge Road, Whiteville, died Tuesday, January 7, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice Angel House.

She was the wife of Rev. Arnold V. Pierce.

The funeral will be 1:00 PM Saturday, January 11, at the Brunswick-Waccamaw Missionary Baptist Headquarters, 600 Pinelog Road, Whiteville, by Pastor Vinston Rozier of Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church.  Burial will be in the Campground Cemetery.

Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the Headquarters Saturday one hour prior to the service.  There will be no viewing after the service.

Eastern Star Rites will be 6:00 PM Friday at the funeral home chapel.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Pamela Dawson of Stafford, VA, Veronica Robinson of Whiteville, Marsha Frink of Chadbourn, and Linda Herrington of Fayetteville; sons, Darnell Pierce of Whiteville, Chauncey Pierce of Fayetteville, Ronald Pierce of Larkin, TX, and Daniel Pierce of Manassas, VA.
