\WHITEVILLE—Marla Ranae Nixon-Lee, 72, of 2535 Peacock Road, Whiteville, NC, died Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare.

The funeral will be 11:00 AM Thursday, April 27, at Peoples Funeral Chapel by Pastor Cornelius Wesley.  Burial will be in the Hall Family Cemetery.

Viewing will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and Thursday one hour prior to and following the service.

Surviving are her husband, Duane Lee; daughters, Candice Lee of Whiteville and LaChelle Lee of Las Vegas, NV; sons, Christopher Nixon and Eric Nixon of Los Angeles, CA, and Duane Lee, Jr. of Riverside, CA; stepdaughter, Michelle McKenzie of Chadbourn, NC; sister, Alicia Payton of Victorville, CA; brothers, Anthony Price of Parris, CA, Aaron Price of El Paso, TX, and Ed Williams of Eagle Rock, CA.
